Industrial Equipment

Industrial Equipment Maintenance/Millwright is a unique course of study that is allied with several different disciplines. Students will develop a broad understating of the diverse areas involved in the maintenance and repair of many types of industrial equipment. Those enrolled will have the opportunity to participate in the AIM(Applied Industrial Management Program). This Associates Degree program was designed specifically for the Industrial Equipment course of study. It is an agreement between the Career And Technical Center, Southern WV Community College and Technical College and local coal company. Students receive 26 college hours for the IEM course, an extended internship and will have an Associate Degree one year out of high school. Students will have skills to enter the work force upon graduation and additional internships are available to qualified students. This course constitutes 1080 hours for completion.
