Graphic communications is one of the top ten leading industries in the United States. Our lives are touched by this industry many times each day. Graphic Communications technology is responsible for the creation and production of visual images. Every newspaper, magazine, textbook, T-shirt, novel, calendar, CD cover, catalog, poster, reproduction artwork and even tattoos are the results of the graphic communications field. Students in this course of study will experience all areas of the industry and will have opportunities to explore their own interests. Those interested will have the ability to earn up to 28 college hours toward a 2 to 4 year degree or will be ready to go directly into the work force. Internships are available to those who qualify. This course constitutes 1080 hours for completion. |
